Role Purpose
We are hiring a Business Development Executive to power the outreach and lead-generation engine behind our UK growth plan. Based in our Mathura office and working closely with the founder and UK team, you will build and qualify a steady pipeline of prospects across our priority sectors, secure discovery calls for senior consultants and support our accelerator and consulting-partnership channels.
This is a hands-on, target-driven role for someone who enjoys research, structured outreach, and the craft of turning cold contacts into warm conversations. You will be the first point of contact many prospects have with Sensiwise AI, so polished written English and a professional, consultative approach are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Lead generation & prospecting
- Research and build targeted prospect lists of decision-makers (CTOs, Heads of Product, Operations Directors, founders) across FinTech, healthcare/digital health, retail, and manufacturing in the UK and rest of European market.
- Run consistent, personalised multi-channel outreach – LinkedIn (Sales Navigator), email sequences, and follow-ups with a target of 10 – 15+ tailored touches per day.
- Identify and prioritise the “aware but not adopting” segment that represents Sensiwise AI’s core opportunity.
Qualification & pipeline
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads against agreed criteria (sector, size, budget, timeline, fit) and book discovery calls for the founder and senior consultants.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in the CRM – contacts, activity, stage, and next steps – and keep the pipeline clean and current.
- Nurture longer-term prospects with relevant content and timely follow-up until they are sales-ready.
Partnership channel support
- Support outreach to UK startup accelerators to help secure workshop and referral partnerships.
- Research and contact AI-practice leads at consulting firms to support the consulting-partnership channel.
Marketing & reporting
- Track and report weekly on outreach volume, response rates, meetings booked, and conversion metrics; suggest improvements to messaging and targeting.
- Coordinate smoothly with the UK-based team across time zones, ensuring timely hand-offs and follow-through.
Essential Skills & Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in B2B business development, sales development (SDR/BDR), inside sales, or lead generation, ideally within IT services, SaaS, technology, or consulting.
- Demonstrable track record of building pipeline and booking qualified meetings against targets.
- Excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to write clear, professional, persuasive outreach to senior decision-makers.
- Hands-on experience with LinkedIn (ideally Sales Navigator), CRM tools (e.g. HubSpot, Zoho, or other similar systems), and email-outreach/automation platforms.
- Strong research skills – able to identify the right companies and contacts and craft relevant, personalised messaging.
- Self-starting, organised, and comfortable owning daily activity targets with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable working with a UK-based team and adjusting hours for time-zone overlap when needed.
Desirable (Nice to Have)
- Experience selling or generating leads into UK, European, or US markets.
- Familiarity with AI, machine learning, or data-driven products and the ability to discuss them at a high level with prospects.
- Exposure to accelerator, partnership, or channel-based sales models.
- Additional language skills (Hindi, Urdu, Spanish or German are a plus, in line with our multilingual delivery).
